As the banking system consists in the western hemisphere about interests, for the Arab world as consider in the Koran, usury is forbidden, so they need to develop different kind of strategies or products for the Muslims that are not consider usury, but applies the general norms for a successful business as the banking system in the Arab world. For example:

Al mudaraba: The bank puts the capital and the customer the effort to conduct a business or developing a business. Bank and customer, share profits and losses.

Al murabaha: The bank buys the product requested by the client and agrees a price. The product will be sold in another agreed price, the bank earns the difference.

Al musharaka: The bank and the client become partners, provide the same capital and assume the same risk-benefit proportion: one third for the bank, one for the client and the third to repay the loan.

These are means that the banks use as for example the use of credit cards is forbidden for them, you have to take this into consideration when you are gonna make business with Arab people.
