From your own point of view it useful to say sorry after years of wrong policies towards a minority? Why, What else is needed?
First of all the situation was very complicated just to say sorry after many years, destroy families jus t because they were thinking for “better opportunities” for those kids, as we could see in the movie. Kids became orphans with imposed rules, education and religion that they didn’t know. For the aborigines they were not doing anything wrong so there was no reason at all for taking their children.
As just saying one word could make up for all the harm the “white australian” caused, the first thing to do would be to try to unify families with the information they could have, it is not a possible solution for everyone the effort can be made to try to reunite possible families all over Australia; besides that some economic compensation should be made for those people who were separated even though they can’t undo the things they did, at least they would acknowledge the bad thing they did, an also recognize as a mistake all those policies for half caste children as they weren’t doing anything wrong, as we can see is not an easy thing to do to heal all the wounds caused by incorrect policies that were aimed to discriminated people and made their lives really hard.

Trade unions in the European Union is the organization of workers for a certain enterprise or sector in order to get more rights, benefits, and the capacity to negotiate easily with their employers to achieve common goals such as better working conditions. As the EU varies in a wide range of aspects Unions aren’t the difference, in countries as Finland 71% of the employees are in Unions, Austria 32%, Spain 16% and France 8%, varying the power of each group for every country. But in general they have really great negotiating power in Europe mainly for the sectors or industries that belong to the States, but every time this percentage is decreasing in many countries, Unions are not having the same power as they used to, and people are not seeing the benefits of joining to this type of organizations, and also because nowadays companies tend to be more conscious about the effects of having unions and prefer to establish a good work environment and reward systems, to avoid the creation of Unions.
Trade Unions are not different from their purpose in the EU or Colombia, they are created to pursue more rights and common goals for the employees, but as the trend these organizations faced in Europe they are starting to decrease here as well, many of them stills have great power specially for government enterprises, but in the private sector their presence is every time less active.

As the banking system consists in the western hemisphere about interests, for the Arab world as consider in the Koran, usury is forbidden, so they need to develop different kind of strategies or products for the Muslims that are not consider usury, but applies the general norms for a successful business as the banking system in the Arab world. For example:
Al mudaraba: The bank puts the capital and the customer the effort to conduct a business or developing a business. Bank and customer, share profits and losses.
Al murabaha: The bank buys the product requested by the client and agrees a price. The product will be sold in another agreed price, the bank earns the difference.
Al musharaka: The bank and the client become partners, provide the same capital and assume the same risk-benefit proportion: one third for the bank, one for the client and the third to repay the loan.
These are means that the banks use as for example the use of credit cards is forbidden for them, you have to take this into consideration when you are gonna make business with Arab people.
It is important to highlight the role of Gandhi in India’s independence, the non violence movement and the massive respond of the people led them to accomplish its final objective to become free from the United Kingdom. He was the pioneer of the resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience, a philosophy firmly founded on total nonviolence which led and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.
One of Gandhi’s major contributions was that to show that pacifism was a viable tool to achieve political objectives and that the independence of India was possible without any kind of war or deaths. Gandhi preached harmony and nonviolence in a world where many believe war was the only way to accomplish things.
Gandhi was a nationalist leader, but also, was he was looking for equality and justice. Another important thing to appreciate from him was that he was looking to abolish the caste system in a country where their religious system created outcasts or untouchables; he was looking for all individuals to become recognized as citizens with rights.
His ambitions went beyond the strictly political sphere: beyond the liberation of their country and social transformation, called for the spiritual improvement of man. Thanks to his believes and the way he acted as an ethical person, he showed to the world that there are different ways to do things; his thoughts and attitudes served as examples for the several peace movements that emerged in the world after the World War II.
